Nearly 9 million adults in the UK have a hearing loss, and 3 million of these could be enjoying better hearing with the help of a hearing aid, if only they sought assistance.

Hearing loss is usually a gradual process and it takes time to become aware that there is even a problem.  Some people compensate for their hearing loss in the short term. Indeed, the first signs are often noticed by those around them, commenting how often they are asked to repeat themselves or complaining how loud the television is.

We offer free professional hearing checks for everyone. It doesn't matter whether there is a hearing loss present or not; what is important is that everyone has the health of their ears and their hearing levels checked on a regular basis.

Appointments, which are carried out by a trained hearing aid audiologist, usually take no more than 20 minutes and include a brief consultation, a visual examination of your ears, and a hearing test.

The hearing care professional will then discuss the results of your assessment with you and will recommend any action you should take.
